Скачиваем, запускаем. После установки обновляемся через Launch AB Profile Loader (тоже кстати новый вышел в сентябре).

Установилась нормально, считает нормально. Больше пока не проверял.
Постараюсь не забывать выкладывать сюда свежие прошивки на Кастрел 5700.

Забыл сказать, что все ваши винтовки сотрутся при обновлении кастрюли, о чем предупреждает Литц. Так что не забываем сохранятся, чтобы после обновления восстановить.

В основном работа с телефоном. Литц уверен в необходимости регулярного обновления так как работа с программой ни когда не прекращается :-)
This week we are going to cover maintaining your devices/apps/software. It may seem like a trivial thing to some (“My device works just fine, why should I ever update it?” 😛 however you might be missing out on new features and bug fixes by not updating your Firmware & Software regularly. Aside from the occasional bug fixes, many updates provide the user with a new Bullet Library or even new features. Most of our updates are designed not to affect your current gun profiles. This means that updating AB Analytics, or the Firmware in your Foretrex 701 will not change the already generated and in use profiles. But this also means, that updating the Firmware or Software won't update the data for an already generated profile. In this email I will go over how to manage this and more.
Updates do not change profile data. Whether you are using one of the apps and are notified of an AB Connect update, using a device, or the software. An update that includes a Bullet Library change does not change the bullet data in an already generated profile. In fact, the only way to actually change this data is to generate a new profile. In short, if you update the library the profile will not change. You will need to generate a new profile after doing an update to use the new bullet drag data.
It isn't uncommon for an update to prepare for a new feature. Sometimes many months before any hint of new features are announced (because they are being tested in the background). For instance, FW 1.23 for the Kestrel Elite went out August 7th and is going to bring in new features like the ability to setup the Target Card from your phone and use your phones built in compass to set firing direction on the Kestrel. Having the latest Firmware also allows the Kestrel Elite to communicate with the Sig BDX 2400 and 3000 range finders to update the target range. Without updating the firmware on the device you won't be able to use these new features from day one. So updating the firmware and software also ensures you get the latest capabilities.
So how do you keep track of all this? It may seem like a lot to try to constantly look up, but you don't actually need to and there are two ways. The first way is to visit the specific page the product you want to learn about and check the current FW. On that page you will find the downloads you need, and version numbers to get you started. The easier way is to use the independent subscr1ption notification systems which will send out an email when its time to update. All you have to do is subscribe to the correct system. In order to make sure you only hear about updates to products you own, each product has its own notification system. This system will tell you what was changed, and how to perform the update. Keeping any apps downloaded from the Google Play or iOS App Stores up to date is fairly simple. You can either manually update them through the app stores, or you can set your devices settings to automatically update your apps. In which case, they will maintain themselves. Although you will need to accept the downloads for AB Connect, but remember it will only change the devices library and not the already generated profiles. For the bullet libraries and AB Connect we maintain both a change log from version to version and a master bullet list.
